The 4 key rated Bungalows Nautilus are situated around 100 metres from the beach, in the Matagorda district of the lively resort of Puerto del Carmen, on the southern east coast of Lanzarote.

The apartments are approximately 6km south of the capital Arrecife, 2km from the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1988 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2010, the modern low rise Nautilus complex has a total of 70 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one and two bedroom, single storey, self catering bungalow style apartments, which are set amidst almost 12,000m2 of sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic magnifying mirror and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, ceramic hob, kettle, microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker, a combined lounge /dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone with answering machine and message recorder, high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and a small furnished terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, 47 guest rooms have been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service 6 days a week, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a restaurant offering a daily breakfast and takeaway service, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi available in selected areas and both laundry and medical services.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults with hydraulic chair lift, along with a further smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground, mini golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.

Of special interest to art lovers, Bungalows Nautilus is a hub for Art and Culture, displaying more than 800 works of art in the apartments, around the grounds and on land outside the complex.

Bungalows Nautilus is currently the only complex in the Canary Islands to be officially certified as barrier-free by Equalitas Vitae, which campaigns to eliminate architectural barriers and promote accessible tourism for all across Europe.
