The 3 key rated Costa Mar Apartments are situated around 200 metres from the beach, in the quiet Playa de Los Pocillos district, of the otherwise lively resort of Puerto del Carmen, on the southern east coast of Lanzarote.

The apartments are approximately 5km south of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1986 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2013, the modern low rise Costa Mar complex has a total of 183 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and studio flats, all of which are distributed between 9 three storey buildings, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, electric oven and hob, kettle and toaster, a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Costa Mar Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
