Part of the Nordotel Group of hotels, the 3 key rated Flamingo Beach Resort has an enviable front line location overlooking the sea front promenade, and Playa Flamingo beach in the popular resort of Playa Blanca on the southern coast of Lanzarote.

The apartments are approximately 35km south of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Extensively refurbished during the winter of 2015, the modern low rise Flamingo Beach Resort has a total of 301 guest rooms, including 284 one, two and three bedroom self catering apartments and a further 21 studio flats, all of which are distributed between 16 two storey buildings and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean towards the nearby islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos.

All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a choice of both buffet and a la carte restaurants, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 2 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with a further 2 smaller children's splash pools, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, along with a multi-sports activity area for football and tennis etc, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Flamingo Beach Resort also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a further indoor heated pool with Finnish sauna and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Flamingo Beach Resort also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by the Tui "Family Life" reps, featuring volleyball, water polo and aqua-aerobics, as well as evening entertainment in the Cabaret Bar with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
