Location Map

With grounds that open onto a private sandy beach, the 4 key rated Sands Beach Villas have an enviable front line location in the popular resort of Costa Teguise on the central east coast of Lanzarote.

The apartments are approximately 14km north of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk along the illuminated sea front promenade from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1995 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2015, the modern low rise Sands Beach complex has a total of 627 guest rooms, including 368 one, two and three bedroom self catering apartments, 180 bungalows, 4 villas, 40 studio flats and a further 35 Junior Suites, all of which are distributed throughout the grounds in 6 village like areas, each having its own fresh water swimming pool and separate children's splash pool.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite bathroom" with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave oven, and a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a patio, balcony or veranda complete with recliner and outdoor furniture for al fresco dining.

In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bars, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, an on-site supermarket and both lounge and pool bars.

At the centre of the Sands Beach Resort is the Paradise Island complex, which is accessed over a bridge from the private beach. Here guests will find an Italian ice cream parlour making its own homemade ice cream, along with a stunning heated outdoor swimming pool with a spectacular waterfall feature and Jacuzzi.

Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and fully supervised mini club, along with a Health and Fitness Centre, a hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Sands Beach Resort also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with spectacular professional shows and dancing in the Cabaret Club, or alternatively family entertainment in the Soleil Bar with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, quiz nights or other professional shows several times each week.
