The 4 star rated Hotel La Isla Y El Mar is situated on a hillside, in the older part of the popular resort of Puerto del Carmen on the southern east coast of Lanzarote.

The hotel is approximately 12km south of the capital Arrecife, 8km from the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1970 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2015, the modern low rise Hotel La Isla Y El Mar has a total of 81 guest rooms, including 75 one bedroom Suites, 5 two bedroom Deluxe Suites and a further loft style Premium Suite, all of which are built over 2 floors overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with rain dance shower, a professional 1800w hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers, along with an open plan lounge area with additional sofa bed, satellite television, Nespresso Coffee machine with 4 courtesy capsules on arrival, minibar, a telephone with complimentary local phone calls, safety deposit box with power socket and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, both the Deluxe and Premium Suites also have a private Jacuzzi on the terrace and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with both buffet and a la carte restaurants, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access in selected area of the hotel, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes an outdoor swimming pool with integrated dynamic pool and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
