The 3 key rated Galeon Playa Apartments have an enviable front line location overlooking the Playa de las Cucharas beach in the popular resort of Costa Teguise on the central east coast of Lanzarote.

The apartments are approximately 14km north of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

The modern low rise Galeon Playa complex has a total of 175 guest rooms, including 141 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 34 one and two bedroom Junior Suites, all of which are built over 3 floors and set amidst spacious sub tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, kettle, toaster and microwave, and a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a number of apartments have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms on the complex are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bars, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of 2 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with a further 2 smaller children's splash pools, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, as well as a squash court and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Galeon Playa Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
