Part of the prestigious H10 Group of Hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Timanfaya Palace has an enviable position overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, around 150 metres from the Playa Flamingo beach, in the popular resort of Playa Blanca on the southern coast of Lanzarote.

The hotel is approximately 35km south of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and 500 metres from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1997, the modern low rise Hotel Timanfaya Palace has a total of 305 guest rooms, including 297 twin rooms, 5 Junior Suites and a further 3 Suites, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst almost 38,000m2 of sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the nearby islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or a terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, a number of guest rooms at the Hotel Timanfaya Palace have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access in selected areas of the hotel, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Timanfaya Palace also offers the use of 3 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 265 people, all of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of 2 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools with Jacuzzi and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities include a multi sports activity area for football and volleyball etc, as well as a cardiovascular gymnasium and sauna.

The Hotel Timanfaya Palace also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

Please be aware that the Hotel H10 Timanfaya Palace is an "Adults Only" hotel and that all guests must be aged 18 or over at the time of arrival.
