The 4 star rated Hotel Mirador Papagayo has an enviable front line location overlooking the Playa de las Coloradas bay in the popular resort of Playa Blanca on the southern coast of Lanzarote.

The hotel is approximately 35km south of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and 2km from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 2002, the modern low rise Hotel Mirador Papagayo has a total of 291 guest rooms, offering a choice of both twin and family rooms, which are distributed between two 3 storey buildings and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking Atlantic Ocean towards the nearby islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or a terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, along with an artificial grass tennis court, squash court, a multi sports activity area and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Mirador Papagayo also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels own Spa and Wellness Centre, offering a variety of cosmetic and other beauty treatments including reflexology, Reiki, Mori, Neuro Emotional Integration, osteopathy, mud and facial treatments with Aloe as well as a 90 degree dry heat sauna, 60 degree bio-sauna, 45 degree hamman steam bath, 2 Jacuzzis and various power showers.

The Hotel Mirador Papagayo also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
