The 4 star rated Suite Hotel Fariones Playa has an enviable front line location overlooking the Playa Grande beach, in the lively resort of Puerto del Carmen on the southern east coast of Lanzarote.

The hotel is approximately 12km south of the capital Arrecife, 8km from the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1987 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern low rise Suite Hotel Fariones Playa has a total of 231 guest rooms, which are built over 5 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

All guest rooms are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers, along with a lounge area with mini fridge, kettle and microwave oven, as well as additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, 6 suites have been fully adapted to accommodate guests with reduced mobility, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Suite Hotel Fariones Playa also offers the use of 4 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 150 people, all of which are equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual aids and equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, along with a further smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Suite Hotel Fariones Playa also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
