Built in 2004, the modern low rise Iberostar Papagayo complex has a total of 83 one bedroom self catering apartments which are built over 2 floors and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking Atlantic Ocean towards the nearby islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos.

All apartments on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette and a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or a terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer, which are shared with the adjacent Hotel Iberostar Papagayo, include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Iberostar Papagayo also offers the use of 2 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 81 people, both of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids including projection screens, flip charts, TV and video.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, along with an artificial grass tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Iberostar Papagayo Apartments also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels own Spa and Wellness Centre, offering a variety of cosmetic and other beauty treatments including reflexology, Reiki, Mori, Neuro Emotional Integration, osteopathy, mud and facial treatments with Aloe as well as a 90º dry heat sauna, 60º bio-sauna, 45º hamman steam bath, 2 Jacuzzis and various power showers.

The Hotel Iberostar Papagayo also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
