The hotel is approximately 5km south of the capital Arrecife and the Lanzarote International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1985 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2001, the modern low rise Hotel Relaxia Olivina has a total of 290 guest rooms, offering a choice of both twin and family rooms and a further selection of Junior Suites, all of which are distributed between five 2 storey buildings, and set amidst 5,000m² of sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, Junior Suites also have a separate bedroom and lounge area and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of 3 salt and freshwater swimming pools for adults, as well as a smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Of special interest to fitness enthusiasts, the Hotel Relaxia Olivina also offers the use of an air conditioned gymnasium which is equipped with a selection of cardio fitness training machines.

The Hotel Relaxia Olivina also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
